Is Golden Gate University Accredited?

GGU is accredited by WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), the organization that accredits universities in California and Hawaii, including Stanford, University of San Francisco, UC Berkeley, and San Jose State University. WSCUC is one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States and is nationally recognized by the US Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). What is the admission process?

The admission process for any GGU program is simple. It starts with a completed online application. Students who meet the minimum eligibility criteria of the program will be considered for scholarships. To apply for a scholarship, students must submit a Statement of Purpose to the university in writing via email. Our admissions committee will review your application, and on the merit of your submission, you may be awarded admission with a scholarship. Are there any financing options available to pay the Program Fees?

Admitted students may finance the balance of program fees, after any scholarship awards, through EMI options from our credit partners. Please connect with your respective admission counselor to take advantage of available financing options.

Are there any scholarships available?

Yes, we offer scholarships of up to 70% of the cost of the program to eligible candidates, based on merit. To learn more about the scholarship application process, please speak with an admission counselor.

How can I apply for a scholarship?

To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the minimum eligibility criteria and submit a completed application. A Statement of Purpose explaining your motivation and intended benefit of pursuing a program with GGU must be submitted as well. The University will review all documents alongside your application for admission and share our decisions in an official offer letter. Our admission counselors are trained to guide you through the application journey.
